The RCYC is holding an Open Day on Sunday 30th May and inviting neighbours, local residents and various organisations to visit us to see whether our facilities might be of interest to them. The open hours will be from 10:00 to 16:00 and visitors will be offered refreshments and the chance to look round the clubhouse or enjoy a relaxing time on the balcony.
The dining and trophy rooms will be laid out in different arrangements to show you how the rooms can look for any occasion.
The Open Day will also be an ideal opportunity for Members to bring along friends who have expressed an interest in sailing or, indeed, for other folk who may wonder how to get started - you just have to take the first step!
Members are invited to play their part in the day by engaging with visitors and helping with any questions the visitors may have, particularly about sailing and racing.
For visitors who are particularly interested in the building, guided tours have been arranged for 11:00 and 15:00 but these must be pre-booked by calling 01621 782105 as the group size is limited.
