Anne Heasley tells her version of bringing Star Swan back home from Gran Canaria in a talk entitled, 'From the Canaries to Burnham with Captain Bligh'. The trip started against the prevailing wind and current with Arthur in command. The low moments included fire and flood as well as Captain Bligh insisting on beating into a gale. On the upside was sunshine and sea life, fascinating islands and memorable sails. "Sometimes," said Anne, "we even talked to each other!"
