Designed by local boat builder, Oliver Lee, in 1968, the Squib is a 19ft keelboat for two people. It is suitable for both racing and cruising, by any age and all abilities. 'Squibbers' are a friendly bunch and welcome new members. Our programme offers competitive racing & fun events, so start to live and get a Squib!

The ever-expanding fleet offers exciting and competitive racing for all ages.The East Coast Fleet's social and friendly atmosphere are renowned, and complement the competitive racing on the water.

A thoroughbred racing boat, designed in 1929 and adopted as an Olympic Class in 1948, the Dragon has maintained a strong presence in Burnham for many years. The Burnham Dragon Fleet is renowned for the excellence of the Open Meetings on its home waters plus a willingness to travel. They also throw a good party!

Cruiser
Cruiser Fleet Members are rarely seen by the Racing Fraternity, off at dawn before the racing starts and back when it's all over. The Fleet includes all levels of experience and spirit of adventure, from those who are content to potter locally to those attracted to the Caribbean and the Med. The Cruiser Fleet Captain has a welcome for all.

The Royal Corinthian One Design is a classic club racing boat designed in 1934, first raced in 1935 and still going strong. These elegant fast wooden boats provide a wonderful introduction to sailing and to racing on the River Crouch. They are also good family boats, ideal for training and picnicking in a friendly, sociable fleet.
