The General Committee, headed by the Flag Officers and Officers of the Club, consists of up to fifteen members, elected annually at a general meeting in December. The Royal Corinthian Yacht Club is a company limited by guarantee, thus the members of the General Committee are also Directors of the Board and the Commodore is the Chairman of the Board; the Hon Secretary is the Company Secretary of the Club. The General Committee meets six or seven times a year and delegates its authority to the various sub-committees.
