The Regatta
It is forty years since Oliver Lee, a boat designer based in Burnham-on-Crouch, launched his new Squib onto the river. It was destined to become one of the most successful one-design racing keelboats, with fleets based in over thirty locations. RCYC is proud to host a regatta to celebrate those 40 years.

Raffle Rules
Besides the prizes for each day's racing, the great attraction at the Gala Dinner will be the Raffle.
Parker Yachts have prepared a brand new National Squib in full racing trim complete with road trailer and lighting board. Parker supplied the hull and the rest of the fittings have been sponsored by Lonton & Gray, Super Spars, White Marine, Holt, Colman Coyle,Tony Saltonstall and Mailspeed, to whom many thanks.
This Squib already has a name, 'By the Lee', which seems perfectly appropriate.
