All six boats launched this season competed for the entire week in consistently strong winds until the final two days. Bob Melville in Corinna took the Week's points, but John Heathfield in Corpo Santo valiantly battled to snatch the Mid Week points and runner up for the week although every boat won glassware on at least one day.
Racing was tight on all days with often just seconds separating boats on the finish line, despite two longer excursions out of the river. On the social side, the Class Dinner on Bank Holiday Monday, shared with the Cruiser fleet, was well attended and we enjoyed a superb meal.
