Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd July
The RCOD Summer Regatta takes place over the weekend of 22nd and 23rd July 2017. The ever growing fleet will be taking to the water in a race to see who willl be crowned this year's Regatta winner. Last Year Rob Campbell was the 'dark horse' borrowing Corella for the weekend and taking her to pole position for an almighty win. Who will it be this year? Murmurs on the grapevine are that all 11 boats may be competing? Pop by even if you are not sailing to witness the action.
Entry Form, NoR and Sailing Instructions can be found to the right, on the download links page.
On Saturday evening the Regatta dinner combines with the clubs Summer Party. A rum punch or mocktail on arrival with nibbles and a plentiful knife and fork, cold meat, fish, salads, potatoes, and breads buffet with sounds from the sunny steelband in the background, thus creating a warm Caribbean vibe on the RCYC balcony. Both adults and the younger generation are encouraged to attend - special menu and price for the youngsters. At 18:00 an earlier evening start than most events, but it's to keep that after sailing momentum flowing and ensure you all get a good night's sleep - if you wanted - ready for some more competitive racing on the Sunday!
